I have a question about longer riding times and COMFORT. I am just under 6'2" and when I've sat on Valkyries I find that I want to slide my feet forward, to open my knee angle. With feet on the pegs, my knee angle is tighter than 90 degrees, and I'd like it to be at Greater than 90 degrees.
[1] I am aware of highway mini-boards, and when my feet are on those, it seems that my feet are quite wide apart.
[2] Does anyone market FORWARD CONTROLS that one can use when ones feet are on the highway mini-boards? Thank you!
I appreciate you sharing this info!
Yep, that big flat six means your legs are fairly wide apart. It's been said it's like straddling a 55 gallon drum lol. Various highway pegs/boards will give you lots of options and after a while you don't really notice it. Forward controls used to be made by Big Bike Things (almost $500) but I think they're discontinued. They do occasionally show up on eBay or the FB Valkyrie groups for sale. Finding accessories for a 20+ yr. old bike is a challenge.
